Description: Strategic Team Group contacted our Maintenance Engineers to Assist in the survey and replacement of a broken piece of roof light glass at Barnsley College. The glass measured 3 meters long by 1.5 meters and weighed over 200 Kg’s! Located in a Schueco curtain walling system, on the buildings roof, 27 meters from the ground, specialist access equipment had to be used to carry out a full contract lift. Ainscough Cranes provided a 75 tonne all terrain crane for this work.
